The Global Financial Crisis

Poem About The Global Crisis Rather than rant on about the current credit situation in the world i have tried to sum up how i feel in this poem. Please leave a comment if you agree.
Global Crisis
With talk of a global crisis
And recession everywhere
It’s time for us to ask
Do governments really care
Because through many years of hardship
And poverty all around
The politicians told us
There was no money to be found
Yet when the worlds banks
Started to lose control
Our leaders managed to find billions
To dig them out of a hole
And where did this money come from
Those bankers take with glee
From ordinary people
Folk like you and me
So I say to you the people
Now it’s time to get real tough
And tell our countries leaders
That we’ve really had enough
Because there really only is one way
Out of this situation
Is for the entire planet earth
To join together as one nation
So let’s destroy poverty
And try to break new ground
By forcing our world leaders
To spread their wealth around
